Administrative Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at ONTARIO INC. as a Policy and Procedure Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including administering policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence.
- Perform data entry and train staff as needed.
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure procedures are followed.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
