Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, paperwork, and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to customers.
- Planning and Organizing: Assist in planning and organizing store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Communicating Plans and Ideas: Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure smooth store operations.
- Cash-Handling and Bookkeeping: Assist with cash handling and bookkeeping tasks, including bank deposits and reconciliations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Advocating and Empathizing: Advocate for customers and colleagues, and demonstrate empathy in all interactions.
- Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure work environment for staff and customers.
- Driver License: Possess a valid driver's license.
Requirements:
- Retail Experience: 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a management role.
- Management Skills: Proven management skills, including leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing fast and friendly service.
- Motivation to Advance: Motivated to advance in your career, with a desire to learn and grow with the company.
- Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges.
