Job Summary

The Field Support Representative will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing Roche customers' instrumentation on site. This includes managing individual car stock of spare parts and acquiring spare parts as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide service support for assigned customers, including standby rotation for after hours support.
  • Assist Roche Care Centre Technical Support Specialists, Lab Integration (TSAs & LPCs) and selected Technical Support Representatives (TSRs) in providing solutions to improve support for Roche Diagnostics Canada customers.
  • Participate in Service meetings, as requested by the Regional Support Manager, Senior Advisor or Regional Business Manager.
  • Perform preventative maintenance for assigned customers and complete technical service bulletins, as per Roche Diagnostics Canada guidelines and timelines.
  • Complete administrative duties, such as Service Report Orders and other tasks, as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma of collegial studies in electronic technology or community college Specialty in BioMedical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of instrument computer, laptop and personal computer, as well as Windows and common Office programs.
  • 2-3 years of service experience in diagnostics instrumentation troubleshooting, a plus.
  • Must be available to work on Standby and flexible to travel.
  • Minimum knowledge of IT systems & Network infrastructure.
