About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team at Haulage North America Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Manage general ledgers, financial statements, and journal entries
  • Develop and maintain various accounting systems, including manual and computerized bookkeeping
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balances of books
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Quick Books
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
