Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of food service staff and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary items are stocked and available.
- Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays, and ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to a high standard.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
