Your Role

You will be part of an administrative team responsible for ensuring every project receives the attention it deserves. As a Financial Operations Director, you will oversee the accounting cycle, supervise various activities such as payables, receivables, banks, credit cards, and expense accounts, while meeting deadlines for all company subsidiaries.

Accounting Responsibilities

Supervise accounting processes for payables, receivables, banks, credit cards, and expense accounts;Follow up with project teams for account receivable collection;Prepare tax returns for the company and its international subsidiaries;Manage the priorities of accounting technicians;Support project teams with urgent transactions;Identify training needs of accounting technicians to enhance their skills.

Process Optimization

  • Optimize accounting processes for the company and its subsidiaries;
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects for accounting activities;
  • Analyze, develop, and recommend beneficial changes to current processes, considering ERP systems and system automations;
  • Propose recommendations aligned with the company's accounting principles and processes.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of consumption tax rules (sales taxes) in Canada and the United States;
  • Experience in personnel management and team talent development;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel);
  • Professional proficiency in both French and English, oral and written.
