Job Summary

RDJ Bakeries Ltd., a renowned food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Maintenance and Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Screen and analyze CMMS work orders to identify spare parts and accessories required for maintenance activities.
    • Audit equipment to document work requirements and quality, estimate labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for assigned work orders.
    • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Order and manage the procurement of spare parts, accessories, and tools from Group, manufacturers, and authorized vendors.
    • Monitor and track purchase orders to meet business requirements.
    • Coordinate inbound shipments, review/authorize freight methods, and monitor shipments, customs clearance, and receipt.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate weekly and monthly demand forecasts and provide information to Group and other manufacturers/suppliers to ensure an adequate pipeline of material.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and supply chain performance.
Requirements
  • Degree in a technical field and 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or equivalent combination of both.
  • Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Project management and capital project experience preferred.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
