RDJ Bakeries Ltd., a renowned food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Maintenance and Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Inventory Management
- Screen and analyze CMMS work orders to identify spare parts and accessories required for maintenance activities.
- Audit equipment to document work requirements and quality, estimate labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for assigned work orders.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
- Supply Chain Coordination
- Order and manage the procurement of spare parts, accessories, and tools from Group, manufacturers, and authorized vendors.
- Monitor and track purchase orders to meet business requirements.
- Coordinate inbound shipments, review/authorize freight methods, and monitor shipments, customs clearance, and receipt.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Generate weekly and monthly demand forecasts and provide information to Group and other manufacturers/suppliers to ensure an adequate pipeline of material.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and supply chain performance.
- Degree in a technical field and 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or equivalent combination of both.
- Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Project management and capital project experience preferred.
- Work indoors in a clean and well-ventilated environment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
