Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician/Technologist to support our production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electro/mechanical equipment failures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation
  • Work proactively to ensure production performance targets are met
  • Focusing on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE
  • Assist in developing plans to correct equipment deficiencies and determining long-term solutions for equipment issues to improve reliability
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure proper operation
  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed
  • Support Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to the maintenance group
  • Ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology field
  • OR High School Diploma/GED or higher AND 5+ years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work different shift patterns as the business requires
  • Must reside near/in Morden MB or planning to relocate to Morden MB in the near future
