Maintenance Technician/Technologist Role at Solventum

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Technologist to join our team at Solventum in Morden, MB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the maintenance and repair of electro/mechanical equipment in a medical device healthcare environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain accurate maintenance documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure production performance targets are met.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Develop and implement plans to correct equipment deficiencies and determine long-term solutions for equipment issues to improve reliability.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure proper operation.
  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices are followed.
Requirements:
  • Certificate/Diploma in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology field.
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher AND 5+ years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shift patterns as the business requires.
  • Ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Solventum offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting pay range of $65,000 - $70,000 per annum, and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career growth.
