About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Indian Flavors Inc. as a Head Cook. This is a permanent position that requires a strong passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Supervision: Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, ensuring that all dishes meet our culinary standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns, and ensuring that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our culinary team to develop new menu ideas, improve kitchen processes, and enhance the overall dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
