Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

A &W Lickman Road is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that our team is well-equipped to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our food service operations are financially sustainable.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform future inventory and operational decisions.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that our team is adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
