Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nomis Food Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and manage inventory
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare and submit reports, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food service management
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk.
