About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Director to join our team at C-Lovers Fish & Chips Vernon. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and high-quality food production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, optimizing inventory management and reducing waste.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational performance to inform business decisions.
  • Establish work schedules that meet business needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a compliant and risk-free environment.
  • Cost products and services accurately, analyzing data to optimize menu pricing and profitability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, exceeding expectations through prompt and friendly interactions.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, making informed decisions to drive business growth and success.

Requirements
  • Possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with regular breaks.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be proficient in basic math concepts, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
