Job Title: General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist

At Shared Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of patient test results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples according to established protocols.
  • Assist in general lab projects, such as SOP development, chemical inventory management, and quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, adhering to professional and provincial guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, with French language skills considered an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Working shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
  • Participation in standby and callback duty may be necessary.
  • Exposure to laboratory hazards and dangers.
