About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned technical leader to spearhead our Data Platform squad. As a Manager, you'll be part of an exceptional engineering team tasked with scaling our platform for future growth. You'll have the opportunity to make significant contributions to a product used by millions, tackling unique engineering challenges of rapid-growth startups.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver on self-serve data infrastructure as a platform vision.
  2. Develop and drive the technical vision and strategy.
  3. Ensure the engineering team works effectively with each other, and the rest of the departments, such as product management and design.
  4. Build a world-class Engineering team.
  5. Implement engineering management and organizational development best practices.
  6. Drive continuous systems improvement.
Requirements
  1. Passionate about Productivity platforms and saving people time by making the world more productive.
  2. Can do attitude with high sense of ownership.
  3. 2+ years experience as a hands-on software development manager leading geo-distributed enterprise scale engineering teams.
  4. Ability to operate effectively in both tactical and strategic capacities.
  5. Experience with data platform technologies.
  6. Experience with rapid scaling of engineering organization by hiring and retaining exceptional talent.
  7. Experience with operating cloud scale services.
