Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring our food and service meet the highest expectations
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and promotions, driving sales and customer engagement
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be on your feet for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
