Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Rigger to join our team at Wesbell Communications Inc. as a key member of our installation and maintenance crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, ensuring high-quality connections and efficient network performance.
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment, adhering to industry standards and company protocols.
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, demonstrating expertise in heights safety and risk management.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires, utilizing advanced technical skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, with travel expenses paid by the employer.
  • Working at heights training and other relevant certifications.

Our Telecommunications Rigger will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. The role requires handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, and flexibility in a dynamic work setting.
