About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Motor Service Technician to join our team at Integrated Power Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and switchgear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and rewind various types of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and switchgear.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Disassemble and inspect electrical equipment to identify damage or malfunctions.
  • Reassemble and test electrical equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment, including winding machines and test panels.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance processes.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Electric Motor Service Technician or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical theory.
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools, including multi-meters and drill presses.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
