Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the financial success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including sales data, customer feedback, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing staff, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and customer service.
