Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at BrightPath Kids Canada. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work collaboratively with teachers and families to provide a nurturing environment for children in our care.

About the Role

This is a casual opportunity that allows you to build your career in early childhood education. You will be working in a Montessori setting, providing support to teachers and engaging with children to encourage their involvement in activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with instruction in the classroom to ensure high-quality learning experiences for children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
  • Interact with children to foster their participation in activities and promote social-emotional growth.
  • Establish positive relationships with colleagues, management, and families to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification or Registered Early Childhood Educator preferred.
  • Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local Minister of Health Requirements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs in an early childhood education setting.
