Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at La Rose Specialty Foods Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our retail sales team and driving sales growth through effective sales strategies and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Manage Sales Team: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties, implement price and credits policies, and locate, select and procure merchandise for resale.
- Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
- Staffing and Training: Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, conduct performance reviews, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Supervision: Supervise 5-10 people and provide guidance and support to ensure the team is working effectively.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in retail sales and management.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Support for Youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Offers flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
- Support for Indigenous People: Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Offers phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees and provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
