Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Manage Sales Team: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties, and implement price and credits policies.
- Merchandise Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, determine staffing requirements, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Staffing and Development: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, conduct performance reviews, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Support for Diverse Groups: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, offers flexible onboarding options for Veterans, facilitates access to Elders for Indigenous workers, and offers phased re-entry options for mature workers.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, sitting, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
