About the Role

As a Restaurant Operations Manager - Food Service, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. You will also be responsible for estimating ingredient and supply needs, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and preparing and submitting reports.

Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures;
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation;
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
  • Prepare and submit reports;
  • Establish work schedules.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 5 years or more of experience in a food service establishment;
  • Excellent oral communication skills;
  • Efficient interpersonal skills;
  • Flexibility;
  • Team player initiative;
  • Dependability.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be working in a restaurant setting with a moderate noise level.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, health care, and vision care benefits, as well as a pension plan. Free parking is also available.
