Truck Driver

Sea to Sky Courier and Freight Ltd. is seeking a skilled Line Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using GPS equipment and other navigation devices.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and secure handling.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
- Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Communicate with central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

- Hours: 40 hours per week
