Adecco Canada is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Gold River, BC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees, visitors, contractors, and clients by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of our Occupational Health & Safety Management System and Transportation Safety Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Health and Safety Officer in implementing and auditing safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure all required e-Compliance documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Create and modify e-Compliance forms as necessary.
  • Participate in monthly inspections, behavior-based observations, incident investigations, and safety meetings.
  • Track and manage employee health & safety training records.
  • Facilitate safety training and new hire orientations.
  • Assess PPE and safety equipment needs.
Requirements:
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the Health & Safety field.
  • Post-secondary training in Occupational Health & Safety Management preferred; NCSO designation is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Teams/Zoom; experience with administering e-Compliance is a plus.
  • Principles of Health & Safety Management, Leadership for Safety Excellence, and COR auditing are considered assets.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrative role; proficient with computers and electronic filing.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle mandatory.
