About the Role

Fitch Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join its Structured Credit team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing ratings on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) using proprietary models, preparing and presenting rating conclusions to a credit committee, and drafting rating action commentary reports to communicate rating decisions to market participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex financial data to determine credit ratings for CLOs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of research publications and thought leadership pieces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, accounting, economics, etc.)
  • At least three years of experience in the financial industry, with a preference for experience related to CLOs or Structured Finance
  • Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail
  • High level of personal responsibility, initiative, and self-management
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects accurately and succinctly
