About the Role

Fitch Solutions is seeking a seasoned credit analyst with a strong background in project finance and infrastructure credit analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the energy sector and be able to analyze complex credit structures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct in-depth analysis of project finance transactions, including wind, LNG, solar, and transmission projects.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with senior management of entities and/or project sponsors, investment bankers, and financial advisors.
  3. Produce timely and accurate credit ratings and reports, including industry and market focused reports and presentations.
  4. Collaborate with senior members of the team to identify trends and assess their credit impact.
Requirements
  1. Master's degree in Finance, Business, or Public Administration.
  2. Proven project finance and infrastructure credit skills gained in a bank credit department, a rating agency, buy side credit department, etc.
  3. Solid writing and verbal communication skills.
  4. Excellent modeling skills and thorough familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models.
  5. Ability to read and fully comprehend complex structures and to ask probing questions to issuers and their advisers.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to work to tight deadlines and display a strong degree of flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as required.
