Tax Compliance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Director to oversee BRP's tax compliance in North America. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the company's Canadian and US legal entities comply with their respective tax legislations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with external partners. In this role, you will:
- Manage the tax compliance process for Canadian and US companies
- Ensure the preparation and review of research and development claims in collaboration with the engineering department
- Prepare, review, and approve quarterly income tax provisions for BRP's Canadian and US legal entities
- Identify and document tax risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Manage tax audits under your responsibility
Key qualifications include:
- Recognized professional title in accounting
- Master's degree in taxation or equivalent
- Bilingual (French and English) to communicate with external partners
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance
The successful candidate may be located at our office in downtown Montreal or Valcourt in the Eastern Townships.
