Real Estate Law Clerk Position

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team at Meridia Recruitment Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and a proven track record of handling complex transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and editing real estate transaction documents, including corporate resolutions and certificates.
  • Preparing closing agendas and Statements of Adjustments.
  • Completing Land Transfer Tax beneficial transfer returns and affiliate deferral applications.
  • Reviewing and summarizing title searches and off-title due diligence searches.
  • Corresponding professionally with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' experience in a clerical capacity in real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate legal software.
  • Experience with commercial real estate development and/or corporate law.
  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and document management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid position, requiring 50% of the time to be spent in the office.
