Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Daybreak. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, are clean and sanitized.
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Food Preparation
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Table Setting and Maintenance
- Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Supply Management
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Handle and store cleaning products.
- Waste Management
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- General Maintenance
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
- Will train.
