Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Daybreak. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to a high standard.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a consistent supply of fresh ingredients.
- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
- General Kitchen Duties
- Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
- Carry and replace linen as required.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve a high level of service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Will train.
- Language
- English.
- Work Hours
- 35 hours per week.
