Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at The Bruce Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Coordinate in-house laundry services and ensure that all laundry is processed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
