Securiguard is a dynamic and growing organization in the security industry, seeking a highly skilled Gatehouse Protection Specialist to join our team.

We are offering a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting foot patrols and checking gate security as needed. They will also conduct CTPAT inspections on inbound/outbound trucks, support the gatehouse during rush hour periods, and perform open ups, lock ups, equipment checks as required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security
  • Inspect vehicles and cargo for compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for reporting and incidents
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees

Requirements:

  • Valid Security Guard Licence
  • Valid Ontario Driver's Licence
  • Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
  • Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Own transportation to and from work location
