Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Burrito Libre Restaurants Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and motivate a team of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Manage Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards, and that all food safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Control Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and stocked in a timely manner.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and develop and manage budgets to ensure that the food service operation is profitable.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and bending
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, including restaurants, fast food outlets, and catering firms
