Job Description:

Fred Leis is seeking a compassionate and reliable in-home support worker to provide personalized care and assistance to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, changing non-sterile dressings, laundering clothing and household linens, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, providing companionship, and preparing and serving nutritious meals.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations. The ideal candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Change non-sterile dressings
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
