About the Role:

Fred Leis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting cleanliness and comfort.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Non-smoking work site environment.
  • Employer's home work setting.
