At FortisBC, we're seeking a talented Co-op Student to join our team in the Transmission Lines department. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on designing and maintaining overhead transmission lines, assisting transmission engineers in preparing designs and construction packages, and performing site visits to gather design information and inspect completed construction work.

This 8-month co-op term is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in the electrical utility industry, working with PLSCADD design software, and collaborating with our Operations and Standards groups. You'll also have the opportunity to network with other utilities and research new utility products and practices.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be an Electrical Engineering student in your third or fourth year, have a valid driver's license, and be interested in learning more about the electrical utility industry.
