We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and contracting process for medium to high complexity IT-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Contracting: Lead the sourcing and contracting process for medium to high complexity IT-related projects, including software, hardware, managed services, and consulting services.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contract pricing, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Procurement Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet business objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Contract Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from solicitation to contract award and post-award activities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis on procurement activities, including cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in an IT procurement role, with a strong understanding of IT procurement processes and core competencies.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to analyze and visualize data, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
