Job Description
The Project Coordinator/Administrator supports the administrative needs of a Key Account Manager serving the multifamily construction industry. The job involves managing project needs from contract submission through to project completion and deficiencies. This role thrives in a very fast-paced environment, living for constant change, problem-solving, making quick decisions, and being challenged constantly.
- Manage new construction project needs as they relate to appliances
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and timely scheduling of deliveries
- Monthly invoicing and account reconciliation
- Collaborate with multiple business units on a daily basis, including Dispatch/Delivery, Purchasing, and Credit
- Assess architectural drawings and how they apply to appliances
- Manage follow-ups on project details with internal and external customers
- Create and update high-level reports and presentations
- Develop and nurture relationships with builder customers on-site and in-office
- Management of contract-related documentation and filing
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1 year minimum experience in a project coordination role or an administrative role with similar responsibilities
- Account management experience including invoicing and/or inventory control an asset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Precise attention to detail
- Proven organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to multi-task and work quickly while maintaining accuracy
- Capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines, understand business needs and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and solutions-oriented
- Fluent in MS Office
- Flexibility to work within legacy systems
