Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Garden Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the William E Live More Community Garden and Park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program plan, including planting, procurement of seeds and supplies, and garden maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with Community Recreation staff, volunteers, members, and community partners to achieve program objectives.
  • Ensure that facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program and safety standards are met.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and rewarding person-focused program aimed at improving mental and physical wellbeing.
Required Qualifications:
  • A strong background in gardening and landscaping, with experience facilitating educational and/or therapeutic programming.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of vegetable gardening and proficiency using basic hand tools and gardening equipment.
Benefits and Salary
