Job Summary: As a key member of the Northern Lights Refrigeration team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting tradespersons and other workers with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, signaling safety procedures, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and cold environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace by moving tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Providing support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, assisting with tasks such as cleaning machines and immediate work areas.

Work Environment:

  • Work outdoors in various conditions, including cold or refrigerated environments.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, requiring a high level of physical fitness and dexterity.

Work Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
