About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at KOKE TEPPANYAKI & BBQ. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
    • Work with our culinary team to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and motivate our culinary team to achieve exceptional results
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to deliver outstanding service
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand
    • Work with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Implement and maintain food safety protocols to prevent contamination and foodborne illness
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service
    • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Skills
    • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced culinary environment
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
