Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Advocacy Team Lead to join our team at BrokerLink. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Commercial Claims Advocacy offering and working closely with our clients, adjusters, carriers, and third-party providers to resolve claims efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure and develop our Commercial Claims Advocacy strategy to meet the needs of our clients
- Lead claims resources for our largest clients and provide expert guidance on claims resolution
- Collaborate with commercial clients, adjusters, carriers, and third-party providers to resolve claims using problem-solving, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
- Support senior commercial executives with pre- and post-claims advocacy and planning
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for commercial claims advocates
- Maintain strong relationships with our top carriers
Requirements:
- High school diploma and/or post-secondary education
- 6-8 years of industry experience, with claims experience required
- P&C insurance licenses across multiple Canadian provinces preferred
- Previous experience managing a team required
- High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity
- Excellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolution
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking
- Able to work both individually and in a team environment
- EPIC broker management system required
- Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
