Job Title: Industrial Electrician

C.O.R.E. Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical System Installation: Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, VFDs, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
  • Electrical Component Replacement: Replace faulty electrical components, including relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.
  • PLC and VFD Programming: Troubleshoot and program automated machinery, including palletizers.
  • Electrical System Testing: Test for malfunctions and verify repairs.
  • Mechanical and Hydraulic Component Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and/or replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
  • Health and Safety: Familiar with WHMIS, GMP's, and good health and safety work practices.
  • Electrical System Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers and electrical systems and apparatus, as well as electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
