Job Title: Construction Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician to join our team at Plantech Control Systems Inc. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Installation: Install electrical controls and panel boxes, underground wiring and cables, and surface mount and/or overhead cables.
  • System Maintenance: Troubleshoot and isolate faults, conduct preventive maintenance programs, and commission systems and components.
  • Electrical Design: Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations, and determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and ensure they meet the required standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
  • Certifications: Electrician Trade Certification.
