About the Role:
The Server Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This includes delivering exceptional service, supporting the Server team, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Support the Server team by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and resetting.
- Serve and clear all food & beverage items.
- Complete opening and closing side-work as assigned.
- Set all tables according to standards.
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu and describe food items to guests.
- Answer guest questions about the menu.
- Break down displays or side stations.
- Monitor overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Ensure a seamless guest experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food and beverage, in a restaurant or hotel.
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage products.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
- Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
- Ability to work in Canada.
