Job Title: Licensed Electrician (309A or 442A)

Prysmian Group is seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Diagnose faults in electrical/electronic systems and equipment and repair or replace electrical and electronic components.
  • Install, commission, and troubleshoot AC and DC motor drive systems.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for proper function.
  • Work with the Electrical/Engineering team on other electrical projects as required.
  • Maintain and improve the plant's preventive/predictive maintenance system.
Requirements:
  • MUST BE a licensed electrician (309A or 442A).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a production/industrial environment with extensive experience in machine troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read, program, and troubleshoot industrial PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley experience preferred).
  • Ability to install, commission, and troubleshoot AC and DC motor drive systems (Parker and ABB experience preferred).
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal instructions and written documentation related to the job.
Work Environment:

Frequent walking, standing, squatting, and reaching required. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to do shift work.
