Job Summary

C.O.R.E. Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, and wiring all electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits in our plant or assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Electronic Maintenance: Inspect, repair, install, and wire all electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits, of any voltage in the plant or assigned area.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain electrical and electronic testing instruments, pipe threading machines, soldering equipment, pipe benders, miscellaneous hand tools, man lift devices, forklifts, CMMS systems, pendant cranes, gamma and X-Ray counters, high voltage testing and grounding sticks, trucks, PCs, and PLCs.
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any type of electrical equipment by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faulty operation.
  • Repair and Replacement: Dismantle and assemble, inspect, repair, and adjust or replace faulty parts and wiring on motors, generators, power distribution and control panels, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic devices, and other equipment.
  • Work Planning and Execution: Interpret drawings, diagrams, and work orders for jobs, select tools required, and plan and perform work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical principles and codes, wire specifications, the properties of various materials, the operation and application of equipment.
  • CMMS System Utilization: Use the CMMS system to manage and track work orders and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Skills and Knowledge: A thorough understanding of electrical principles and codes, wire specifications, the properties of various materials, and the operation and application of equipment.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
