Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Osmows Shawarma. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring seamless food service operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, dining area, and surrounding areas, to ensure a positive dining experience for our customers.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including handling food orders, plating, and garnishing.
  • Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and paper products, to maintain a fully stocked and organized workspace.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in food service, customer service, and cash handling.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
