About the Role

The Senior Director of Platform Strategy and Transformation is a pivotal position within OpenText, responsible for outlining the broader strategy and driving both tactical and strategic roadmaps of key enterprise platforms, including cloud and data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a cloud strategy and roadmap, driving operational cost reduction and improvement in margins.
  • Deliver a data center consolidation strategy, ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimizing costs.
  • Establish a cloud margin improvement program, leveraging expertise in FinOps Automation and standardization of operational processes.
  • Provide expert advice on architecture, designs, and best practices to commercial and corporate technology teams, extracting optimal value from enterprise platforms.
  • Manage large and complex enterprise-wide initiatives, solving business problems through end-to-end strategy building, planning, design, and execution.
  • Present results to the Executive Board, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in leading technology initiatives across multiple systems, of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Ability to manage and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on complex data.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, platform, and data architecture.
  • Proven track record of driving business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) of enterprise platforms.
